Cosy moments in your room
Living with feeling at Alpvita Piz Tasna
There are places where you simply arrive and feel: here I can let go, here I feel at home. And that was the most important thing for us, that you feel this homely feeling in every little detail.
With a lot of passion, craftsmanship and attention to detail, we have created rooms that are more than just places of retreat – they are little worlds of well-being where you can feel safe and secure.
After months of planning, selecting and refining, the result is now here: warm colours, natural materials, modern lightness and that very special ‘Tasna feeling’ that is hard to describe – but can be felt immediately.
Every story has its chapters – and here at Alpvita Piz Tasna, a very special one has now begun.
The last major renovation took place several years ago – in 2008, when Roland and Michaela Salner led the hotel into the future with passion and vision.
A lot has happened since then. Ischgl has changed, guests' expectations have grown, and we ourselves have also evolved.
Today, daughter Michelle is gradually taking over the family business – with fresh ideas, a keen sense of aesthetics and the desire to combine the tried and tested with the new.
The central question for her is: How should the Alpvita Piz Tasna feel in the future?
What values should be tangible, what atmosphere, what story do the rooms tell?
It was clear that after so many years, a renovation was in order – but this time it was about more than just new furniture or floors.
It was about bringing Michelle's vision to life: creating a place that radiates warmth from within. A place where guests arrive and say:
‘I just feel at home here.’
With great attention to detail and a keen sense of materials and atmosphere, they succeeded in bringing the house into a new era – without losing its soul.
When redesigning the rooms, one thing was paramount: authenticity.
Michelle wanted to create spaces that were neither cool and modern nor overly ornate – but honest, harmonious and soothing.
The new design concept follows clear lines:
- warm colours and natural materials,
- Austrian natural wood flooring with a lively grain,
- ash ceilings that create a fine structure and depth,
- custom-made furniture, thoughtful lighting
Every detail has been carefully chosen, every material used with care, every room planned down to the smallest detail, each as individual as we are. The result is an atmosphere that conveys a sense of security without being oppressive – modern, but with heart.
